At the JAM
club we cater for children between the ages of 3 to 11 years old,
we meet at the church every Sunday morning before going across to
Milestones at 10:30. On the fourth Sunday of the month we stay in church
for the all age service. We begin each week by saying our prayer
together and singing some action songs, we sometimes have a game
before gathering together to listen to a bible story, which helps us to
grow in Christ as we learn how much God loves each one of us.

The teachings from the Old Testament include stories about Moses, Noah and King David and from the New Testament we learn about our saviour Jesus Christ who came to live amongst us and how he healed and cared for people, teaching them about God their heavenly father. We also have stories about his disciples and followers.
Each week we make some kind of model or craft to help
us remember what we have learned. On the first Palm Sunday Jesus rode into
Jerusalem riding on a donkey. The people waved palm branches and shouted
Hosanna to the King, so this year after the story we made a lovely banner
which is now up in church for everyone to see.
We have a great time at the JAM club each week and really enjoy ourselves. Afterwards we go back to the church in time for communion or a blessing and are able to tell the congregation about the story we have learned and show them what we have made. |
